Although he wasn’t man enough to come clean when honesty might cost him his job, his guilt will now be assuaged by about $3 million in profits from his book on the same topic. Meanwhile, Americans continue to die.

On average, Americans consume about 400 million gallons of Exxon gasoline each day. If Exxon rebated 100 percent of its $36 billion profit last year to consumers, that would only lower the price of a gallon of gasoline by a measly four cents. What shocks me more is how much Roger Clemens will get PER PITCH. At 17 starts this year, and 70 pitches per outing (5 1/3 innings), he’ll take away $15 grand PER PITCH.

Roger isn’t taking money out of my pocket. He’s not prohibiting me from going on a vacation because of gas prices, which effects the hotels, restaurants, and shops I’d be patronizing either. He didn’t take away the once American pastime of going for a Sunday drive either. The oil companies, George W., and his good ol’ boy network did. Then again, you’re just another Bush/Cheney advocate with a blind eye that can’t admit he made a mistake, and are more concerned with spelling then thieves in our system. George S. is paying Roger. All of us are paying George W.
PS. who did your math,and annual profit declaration for Exxon? Them?
